He is very excited; all his life he's had a secret wish & longed to meet the
Prophet Mohammad.
Having arrived at the Gates of Heaven, Barack meets a man with a beard.
'Are you Mohammad?' he asks.
'No, my son, I am Peter. Mohammad is higher up.' Peter then points to a ladder
that rises into the clouds.
Delighted that Mohammad should be higher than Peter, Obama climbs the ladder in
great strides, climbs through the clouds coming to a room where he meets another
bearded man.
He asks again, 'Are you Mohammad?
'No, I am Moses. Mohammad is higher still.' Exhausted, but with a heart full of
joy he climbs the ladder yet again, he discovers an even larger room where he
meets another man with a beard.
Full of hope, he asks again, 'Are you Mohammad?
'No, I am Jesus; you will find Mohammad higher up.'
Mohammad higher than Jesus! Man! Obama can hardly contain his delight and
climbs and climbs, ever higher.
Once again, he reaches a larger room where he meets a man with a beard and
repeats his question: 'Are you Mohammad?...' he gasps as he is, by now, totally
out of breath from all his climbing.
'No, my son, I am Almighty God. But you look exhausted. Would you like a cup
of coffee?'
'Yes! Please, my Lord'
God looks behind him, claps his hands and yells out: 'Hey Mohammad -- two
coffees!'
Keep your trust in God; Your government has failed you miserably.=============

[1:38:56 PM] Pastor Gong in Miami:
[1:44:33 PM] Pastor Gong in Miami:
[1:49:06 PM] Pastor Gong in Miami:
九一一的伤感,可以理解,而将九一一的破坏者定为穆斯林,就比较危险了;

How we get in the box
“Self-Betrayal”
- An act contrary to what I feel I should do for another is called an act of “self-betrayal”
- When I betray myself, I begin to see the world in a way that justifies my self-betrayal.
- When I see the world in a self-justifying way, my view of reality becomes distorted.
- So—when I betray myself, I enter the box.
- Over time, certain boxes become characteristic of me, and I carry them with me.
- By being in the box, I provoke others to be in the box.
- In the box, we invited mutual mistreatment and obtain mutual justification. We collude in giving each other reason to stay in the box.
Box Problems
Lack of commitment
Lack of engagement
Troublemaking
Conflict
Lack of motivation
Stress
Poor teamwork
Backbiting/ bad attitudes
Misalignment
Lack of trust
Lack of accountability
Communication problems
How we get out of the box?
What DOESN’T work in the box
- Trying to change others;
- Doing my best to “cope” with others;
- Leaving
- Communicating
- Implementing new skills or techniques
- changing my behavior
Knowing the material
- Self-betrayal leads to self-deception and “the box”;
- When you’re in the box, you can’t focus on results;
- Your influence and success will depend on being out of the box
- You get out of the box as you cease resisting other people
Living the material
- Don’t try to be perfect. Do try to be better.
- Don’t use the vocabulary—“the box”, and so on—with people who don’t already know it. Do use the principles in your own life.
- Don’t look for others’ boxes. Do look for your own.
- Don’t accuse others of being in the box. Do try to stay out of the box yourself.
- Don’t give up on yourself when you discover you’ve been in the box. Do keep trying
- Don’t deny that you’ve been in the box when you have been. Do apologize; then just keep marching forward, trying to be more helpful to others in the future.
- Don’t focus on what others are doing wrong. Do focus on what you can do right to help.
- Don’t worry whether others are helping you. Do worry whether you are helping others.

Spiritual Rx for Today:
Spiritual Rx for Today:
If I regarded my life from the point of view of the pessimist, I should be undone. I should seek in vain for the light that does not visit my eyes and the music that does not ring in my ears. I should beg night and day and never be satisfied. I should sit apart in awful solitude, a prey to fear and despair. But since I consider it a duty to myself and to others to be happy, I escape a misery worse than any physical deprivation.

He raises up the poor from the dust; he lifts the needy from the ash heap to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honor; for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’s, and on them he has set the world. 1 Samuel 2:8 (from Hannah’s Prayer)

Rev. Daniel 12:28:30 AM
